A warm welcome to our Seahorse Nursery Class: a new early years setting for children aged 3 years and above.
We are excited to open our doors this September and provide a safe, nurturing environment where every child can start their journey of becoming a life-long learner who reaches for the stars!

Learning Through Play
Children learn best when they are engaged, happy, and having fun! Our carefully planned activities encourage children to explore, discover, and develop essential skills through imaginative play, creative activities, outdoor adventures, and hands-on learning experiences.
Funding
Every child is entitled to 15 hours free childcare. Some children are entitled to up to 30 hours per week (depending on eligibility). Free Early Learning (FEL) in an early years setting starts from the start of the term following a child's third birthday, for 38 weeks in a full school year.
We offer both 15-hour and 30-hour funded places, with the option for additional paid-for hours for 15-hour families.
Session Times
Our nursery sessions start at 9am daily, with doors opening from 8.50am (to coincide with school drop-off times). The extra 10 minutes between 8.50am-9am will be free of charge.
Our nursery sessions finish between 3 and 3.15pm, in order to coincide with the end of the main school day for those who have siblings to collect. The extra 15 minutes between 3-3.15pm will be free of charge.
Children staying for the full day in nursery will need to bring a packed lunch (no nuts or nut derivatives please).

Join our Nursery!
We are now welcoming registrations for our September opening. We anticipate our Nursery will open from Monday 14th September, with the week prior being used for transition and settling-in activities for families attending.
The governing body is the admission authority and is responsible for setting the school nursery’s Admissions Policy. This policy is written to ensure fairness and equality for all those intending to begin their education at the school. A copy of this policy can be found in the documents group below.
